It has been developed with an easy setup. Counting one allen wrench and coin, the lens control and support are constructed on the base plate. This means the rig can be built on a table, in good light, with plenty of working space. Once the camera is assembled on its tray, the entire system slides into the housing and locks securely in place.

For simple zoom and focus, there are knurled knobs on the outside of the housing. Making it easy to handle with a single pair of hands. For more complex shoots the use of cforce Plus and cforce mini motors paired with the ARRI Hi-5 Hand Unit can supply you with remote operation and control.   

The 250mm optically coated glass dome port is supplied in this package. It is perfect for wide-angle imaging and is compatible with a variety of cinema lenses underwater. The glass is highly scratch resistant and due to the Broadband Anti-Reflective Coatings, it removes any flare, reflections, and ghosting from the port optic. Lastly, the aluminum shade protector around the dome gives additional protection and flare resistance. For close focus, we recommend smaller domes.

The housing is designed around the use of the ARRI B-Mount Plate which mounts directly onto the camera.  Both the Bebob B290 (294Wh) and the SWIT HB-A290B have been tested, but ample space is available for a range of battery pack sizes to be used in the housing, providing long operation times. Surface-supplied power is also an option for tethered all-day shooting.

To make sure the housing is safe there is a vacuum check that provides constant updates on the water and safe-to-dive status. It uses a manual pump to secure the first pressure while getting more pressure after getting into the water. The LED color-coded security system based at the rear of the housing is easy to understand. The user would also get an audible notification if there has been leakage detected.
