The 10+ lens is a macro lens for your Gopro.
It is good to have, since the Gopro will not allow you to focus on anything near the lens.

This lens is not as powerful af the MacroMate, but is a really great supplement. In fact, you can take off the colour FLIP filters of your system, and dive with both the macro lenses.
This will gve you two different close-up focus points and a lot of flexibility.

Note: If you buy the 10+ filter as a stand-alone or supplement to your FLIP colour filters, be aware that you need the "lens holder" as well to use it.
This part is not included with the lens.

FLIP FILTER 55MM 10+ Macro lens for all GoPro

The +10 filters will decrease the focus distance to the subject.

Instead of 28-29cm you can focus less than 20cm away.

(if you want to get as close as 6-8cm, you need the macromate-Mini lens.)

In order to use this 55mm macro filter, you need the 55mm thread.
The 55mm thread fits on the TOP FLIP, that again can be mounted on the top or one the side of the FLIP FILTER system
